General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I would suggest that your girlfriend should take a urine pregnancy test by 10 days of missed period or 2 weeks after sexual intercourse. Blood in urine should be investigated by urine routine, urine culture and sensitivity. Urinary tract infection, dehydration should be ruled out.Vaginal smear and pelvic ultrasound should be done to rule out any pelvic inflammatory disease.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
