What Causes Delay In Periods And Cramps?

my last period was on the 3rd september after having a d&c performed, it came normally as expected. i havent had one since, almost 2 months ago. i have done a home pregnancy test but came back negative. what can my next step be? as i have low cramps for a few weeks now
