What Causes Delay In Periods And Nausea Post Salpingotomy?

had Salpingotomy 4 weeks ago (Oct.16) have had somewhat unprotected sex (husband is pulling out) and have not had my period yet. Feeling nauseous today and worried I may be pregnant... Can t buy a test til tomorrow...If I was, would by body still be able to handle a pregnancy so soon? What could happen?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy. However, sometimes the periods are delayed after genital tract surgeries.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done.
It is advisable to not to conceive for 6 months after salpingostomy , however if you have conceived, you can continue the pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
