What Causes Delay In Periods And Severe Panic Attack After Tubal Ligation?
My tubes are tied and I am 15 days late of my period. I have all the symptoms of my period but no blood is coming. The past 2 months I have had a severe panic attack and that was before PMS. I had a lot of stress and I toke a pregnancy test 5 times and they all say negative. If i am not pregnant, what is causing the delay of my period? Am I starting early menopause. I am 38 years old. Will I get my period?
As per my clinical experience, there sounds possible alteration in the hormone level of estrogen and progesterone which is responsible for the delay in periods. Panic is in relation with the fear of pregnancy due to delayed periods. It is best recommended to take hormone therapy for induction of menses, rather than worrying of early menopause or pregnancy, which is not possible at this point of time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
