What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having A Negative UPT?

Hello i am 30 years old. I had my 3rd child 11/7/2014 and had my tubes tied 1/16/2015. I got my menstrual like clockwork every month since getting my tubes tied up until May. For the month of May my period was about 2 weeks late and i have yet to see another period since then. It has been 2 months now with no menstrual. Ive taken 2 pregnancy test and they both were negative. Im still not convinced that i am not pregnant b/c i have always found out in the past that i am pregnant long after 2 months. Ive been experiencing symptoms of pregnancy that are familiar from my previous ones....i need advice b/c doctors really dont start caring until there is a positive pregnancy test.
