What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hi, i havent had my period in 4 months and i just took a pregnancy test. It said negative but i m showing all the signs of being pregnant. I then checked if those test sticks can be wrong. Im not sure what to do now. I dont want to freak out ,but i just want to make sure thats its accurate. What should i do?
Some women do return negative to home pregnancy kits until 3-4 months into pregnancy, and in all such cases you need to confirm/rule out pregnancy by visiting a doctors clinic.
Other causes for a delay can be the following:
+Infections +Other medications +Birth control pills +Soon approaching menopause +Hormonal imbalance +Underlying chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, etc. +Reproductive system related conditions like ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc.
Please visit a doctor for an elaborate evaluation as you clearly need help.
Best wishes.
