What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

I had a tubal ligation 3 yrs ago when I had my last child . Just recently I haven t had a period int he last threes months. Before then they were regular. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I also have had fibroids. Is it normal to not have a period after this long?
