Please help. My period was 6 days late and I’m never late. I’ve had blood test on the forth day late and it was negative. I’ve had some bleeding now for two days put it doesn’t feel the same as my period. I feel hot all the time. I’ve had some cramps on the days I was late and the first day of bleeding (Sorry TMI) but it felt like I was be twisted on the inside. I can’t shake the feeling that I’m pregnant, Can I still be?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Delay in periods can occur due to pregnancy, hormonal imbalance etc. Pregnancy can be confirmed or ruled out by urine pregnancy test which becomes positive 10-14 days after conception. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
