hi
thank you for asking your concern and welcome to HCM. if the pain occurs during periods only you can give tablet mefenemic acid or diclofenac twice a day for 3 to 5 days. if pain is present at all time irrespective of periods then i would advice to do urine test to rule out urinary tract infection. if your wife is suffering from white discharge then it should b treated with metronidazole and doxycyclin. as both the conditions can cause pain it is necessary to treat them. for that it will be good to consult any gynecologist.
if periods are delayed and tests are normal then there is no need to worry this may happen some time to any women in her whole reproductive life. to comence the period tablet primolut-n thrice a day can be taken for 3 to 5 days, after stopping this bleeding will occur after 3 to 4 days. if such repeated episodes are present then hormonal contraceptive pills need to take for atleast 3 months.
if you feel any doubt please ask us
regards
dr. Abhijit
