Hello and welcome to HCM,
Delay in periods can occur due to number of causes.
Pregnancy is one of the most important cause for absent periods.
A negative urine pregnancy test and very low levels of beta HCG rules out pregnancy currently.
Delay in periods can occur due to anemia, anxiety and hormonal imbalance.
Little delay is common in healthy menstruating females.
So, you can wait for few more days.
If the periods do not start within 5-7 days, then you need to consult your gynecologist.
Do not forget to take up blood test to determine the hemoglobin level.
Anemia or low hemoglobin also causes delayed periods.
If there is no anemia, hormonal imbalance needs to be ruled out.

Thanks and take care
