What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

Hi! I am rafiq. I am married for 2 years. I and my wife had unprotected sex at the 6th day of her period. The next day she stopped bleeding. She usually has six days period. It was 6th October and her next period should start from 7th November. But she isn't getting her period yet. It is due for 5 days now.We did a pregnancy test at 4th day of due. But it was negative .She has irregular period cycle as well. She doesn't take any regular pills also. We use condoms. We are not planning to take any babies right now.Please suggest me what should we do now? Thanks in advance. Eagerly waiting for the reply.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
There are less chances of a women getting pregnant on a period day. Also you have done a urine pregnancy test. So chances of pregnancy in your wife are very less.
Your wife must have her period delayed due to reasons other than pregnancy such as stress, hormonal balance, sudden weight change, ovarian failure etc

If you didnt get your period in next week, you could do Urine Pregnancy Test again
Consult a gynaecologist if problem persist
