What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hi my period is a week late I do not feel as if I am pregnant having had 2 children already I did a pregnancy test today and the first one came back with a very very very faint positive result and the second one came back with a very clear negative result Tests taken about an hour apart. So my question is am I pregnant do you think?
Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum. I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.
As a physician I would like to tell you that you should take a second UPT after 7 more days. As the UPT is based on Hcg Hormone amount in urine. It is less in early period of pregnancy. Thus you should take a second UPT and if it comes out negative again, you should visit your attending physician.
Thanks for Trusting & Posting your Query on this forum. Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question. Have a nice Day.
Regards, Dr.Abhijeet
