What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hi, I am 46 years, i had my last period on 17th apr, after wating for 30 days had test, which was negative. then took meparates for 5 days morning & night. not yet started, again had test on 45 days, it was negative. till today, periods not yet started. can you guide on this.
Hi User! There can be various causes of delay in period apart from the pregnancy. Other causes include hormonal imbalances which may be due stress as well. However, some may also have irregular periods at around the time of menopause which means the cessation of menstrual cycle in women for which the average age is around 50 years but some may experience it a few years earlier or later. It would be recommended to look for other symptoms and to see the gynecologist once to get examined and evaluated thoroughly.
