What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

Im charm i start pills 5days after period. I take 2x a day for safety. I finished the pack very early and after i take another pack again to continue. We have active sex every other day. And now 6days delayed but still in 17th active pills. Am i pregnant? I already have serum pt last week and yesterday and its negative.thank u

The pill and all medications are tested in the lab to determine the best dose and the side effects that occur at that dose.
If higher than required doses are used then there is an increased risk of side effects.

The pill is very very effective at preventing pregnancy when used once daily at the approximate same time. It should not be used twice daily because unfortunately you would be increasing your risk of short term and long term side effects.
Because you use more than should be used the pack would finish early. The increased dose does not mean increased protection but increased side effect risk.

You would need a pregnancy to determine if you are pregnant. These detect HCG hormone and can pick it up 11 to 14 days after conception.
