What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

Ok... i am worried i might be pregnant... I last got my period on Nov 10,2016.. my period was not always regular however it has been comiing on the 10th of every month sicne september... its now Dec 14 and no period... i had unprotected sex on Nov 23... so im really worried... i dont really have any symptoms .... im currently a bit gassy but that can also be because i have not been drinkiing any tea or hot beverages.. i have the feeling as if my period is coming , its not rally cramps just a feeling i get.. but i am not sure if it can be confused with pregnancy symptoms... i took a pregnancy test yesterday at the health center and it came back Negative ... it is currently exam time so im super stressed out and havent been eating right i am aware that this can also delay my period... whats your advice??? PLEASE HELP

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As a physician, I would like to tell you that according to your history and symptoms, you had unprotected sex on 23rd Nov which is pretty close to the ovulation. That increases chances of getting pregnant.

I would also like to tell you that you should take a home urine pregnancy test after 10 days, that is around 15th or 20th of Dec to exactly rule out the pregnancy. But in any case, do not delay the tests and visit a specialist MD Obgy doctor as soon as possible.
