What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

dont know weather my gf is pregnant ? i checked using pregancy kit it showed negative and last time she took medicine to extend period date but unfortunately we had sex in time of period now she is not having period .she met a doctor for urinary infection he checked blood and urine and asked to use femilon tablet is there a chance she is pregnant

Hi,

Pregnancy chance is less as you had sex in time of period. No ovum is released during period time so no fertilization takes place. Pregnancy test will give positive result 7 days after missed period form normal expected period date (so it should be done 7 days after missed period to confirm pregnancy).

You can also confirm pregnancy by blood HCG test. Your period could be delayed by hormonal imbalance. So period may be delayed by 3 to 5 days from the normal expected period date. Period can be induced by Femilon tablet in absence of pregnancy if period will delay by more than 14 days. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
