What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking I-Pill After Having Unsafe Sex?
I have been under pcos treatment and was having regular periods but from last two months I am no more under any medications. My date was due on 13th , but I had unprotected sex with my fiancé on 7th and took an i pill but it s 17th today and I have no periods yet. Please reply .

Positive points against pregnancy
1)You had unprotected sex during a safe period(as per your expected date of menstruation ,assuming that your periods are regular and your menstrual cycle is 28 to 30 days after treatment for PCOS).
2)you took an i pill within 24 hours.
3)I pill can delay the next period to upto one week.
4)You are not taking any medicines for the PCOS for 2 months,so maybe your periods have become irregular.
These are the reasons that made me not suspect a pregnancy.the most probable reason is number 2.so wait for another 4 to 5 days.If you haven't started menstruating go to a specialist and do a blood pregnancy test(usually becomes positive after 8 to 10 days after fertilisation.urine pregnancy test may take longer to become positive).so for the time being stay calm. Remember that i pill shouldnt be used as a regular contraceptive.
