What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Medroxyprogesterone?

Hi, i went without a period for 6 months in a row. i saw my gyno and we did blood tests. they all came back negative: thyroid, hormones, glucose levels. i now have to take medroxyprogestrone every other month to make my period start. Could this be a tumor on my ovaries causing this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of loss of menses for 6 months following usage of medroxyprogesterone after negative hormone test I am suggesting a possibility of an ovarian cyst

In view of this please do a pelvic scan to rule out this condition

Meanwhile please visit a gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription and for possible surgical interventional procedures

I hope this helps Regards
