What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Plan B After Sex?

Hi, I took plan b the morning after sex took it June 6 . I was expecting my period June 11 and its late . I suppose plan b is the reason for late period . I have taken three home pregnancy test and they came up negative . I am having signs of constipation . Should I be concerned hat I could be pregnant at this time ?

Understand your concern
Yes plan B pill cause temporary disruption of menstruation of cycle.
It contain high concentration of progesterone that lead to increase leuteal phase of cycle and lead to delay in the period for 4-6 days.
Chance of pregnancy is less as you had taken plan B pill and home pregnancy test is negative.

Wait for period to come, If period will delay by the 10-12 days from expected period date then go for home pregnancy test in early morning with fresh urine sample. USG and Blood HCG are more accurate than HPT.
Constipation may be due to high progesterone as it reduce the contraction of smooth muscle of intestine by changing calcium signal.
Drink lots of fluid, take fiber in the diet and if severe than take tablet dulcolax , do regular stretching and walking exercise.
