What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Progesterone?

Hi so last year sept I took out my iud I ve had some spotting here and there maybe a month after I removed the paraguard, I wasn t having sex and still I have no period I took progesterone for 10days but nothing s been happening since Drs said something about weight but I ve never had a problem no matter my size but I have been active eating healthy and nothing now it s almost going to be a yr I m only 23

Hello,

I think there is no risk of pregnancy since you don't have intercourse. The changes in your period you are experiencing may be caused by the changes you did in contraception methods. You don't have to worry about it. You may need some months in order to have a more regular period.
