What Causes Delay In Periods Even After Taking Dydrogesterone?
3 months delay period of my friend, she is taking dydrogesterone tablet 5 days with twice a day but still no sign of period. She is also a virgin so definitely sure about that she's not pregnant. What should she do? Plus she had lots of stress last month and now having some problem again so basically she is stressful are there any medication for this?

According to your history the possible causes for your friend's irregular periods are:
- Stress and strain, changes in diet, sleep or exercise can affect the menstrual cycles by leading to fluctuations in hormonal levels.
- Other possible causes are poly cystic ovary disease, anemia, thyroid abnormalities, blood sugar abnormalities etc.
After completing the dydrogesterone tablets sometimes it mat take around one week to 10 days to get withdrawal bleeding. So she can wait for few more days.
If she doesn't get periods even after that, better let her consult Gynecologist once, get examined and go for investigations like ultrasound, hemoglobin levels, blood sugar levels, thyroid profile, etc. With this work-up the possible cause of the problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
