Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have delay in periods in spite of taking contraceptive pill . Well in pills, estrogen and a synthetic progesterone (progestin) is taken each day and eventually some of patients on oral contraceptive pills skip or have no periods. The thinning effect of the progestin part of the pill eventually won out. You will need a more estrogenic pill for you period to return, but there is no harm if you don't cycle. You can also consult gynecologist if periods further delay . Also do UPT test .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
