What Causes Delay In Periods Inspite Of Taking Maxogest?

My wife periods are normal every month. This month it should come on 16th september but it has not come. Preg. Tests are negative. Doc suggests to have medogest 10 mg for 5 days but still period is nt coming. Medogest dose is completed yesterday. What could be the reason?

Hi

You can wait for 7 to 10 days after stopping the drug, for your periods to resume.Abdominal cramps can occur with the drug and will settle in a couple of days.
