What Causes Delay In Periods Inspite Of Taking Regestrone?

Hello, I m 24 unmarried and last month me and my bf met and used pull out method,I didn t get my period since 2 weeks then I took a urine test which resulted as negative, then for accurate result took blood test where I got result of 7.5 hcg level. Then I consulted a doctor, then doctor gave me regestrone tablet to use it for 5days , twice a day.Done with five days course and now I waited for 4 days but still didn t get period.Pls help me out im vry much worried.I dnt wana become pregnant

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern for being worried about the delay in the periods.
Since you have tested negative for urine pregnancy test and your blood HCG levels are also low, it is unlikely that you might be pregnant.
Usually, after taking Regestrone, you need to get your periods by 2 to 5 days after consuming the last pill. You may wait for another 2 days more (for a week).
In case you don't get your periods, you need to check for pregnancy by means of urine pregnancy test and blood for beta-HCG levels.
Following the tests, kindly visit Gynecologist for further management.
