What Causes Delay In Periods Inspite Of Using Postinor2?

Hello Doc, I need your help. My baby is just 4 months and me and my hubby uses withdrawal method and it works. But now am a nursing mum of 5 months old doing exclusive breastfeeding with nothing. But my fear now is I took 3 packs of postinor2 last month and I saw my period on the 20th though very light and let me say that was the first period after delivery. I took another 2 packs this month and my thought is I should have seen my period. Am I supposed to have seen my period because am doing exclusive breastfeeding. I have done urine and blood pregnancy test but all negative. Am still having some burning cramps. Thanks alot

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Because you are exclusively breast feeding, your period may be delayed or irregular.

This is the likely cause.

This is the reason that exclusively breast feeding mothers are less likely to conceive during the weeks-months they are breast feeding.

I hope this helps
