What Causes Delay In Periods When Pregnancy Test Is Negative?

Dear sir My name is arshiya banu age 31 . in 2010 i done laparoscopy family planning operation in hyderabad, till march 2017 my periods were fine (some time 2-3 days early or late) but this time it is late by 10 days yet not came. i am in big tension....i done blood test it was negative. i want to know what is the region for it...is there any tablet to get the periods. please guide me...waiting for your reply.

Hi, I think if your blood test is negative for pregnancy, you are not pregnant. You can take some progesterone like deviry or meprate 10 mg twice a day for 7 days for inducing periods. Get a prescription by a gynecologist. It can happen due to some stress factor also. If periods are irregular over next few months, get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries done to find out any other cause.
