What Causes Delay In Periods While On Birth Control Pill?

I have just recently became sexually active. I have been on birth control since I was 13 and I am now 20. I had sex last saturday and this past saturday. I started my dummy pill yesterday and still have not had my period ... should I be worrying or am i just paranoid?

Hi, You are supposed to take birth control pills for only 21 days starting from 5th day of last menstrual period. You should not start another pack untill you menses comes.Wait for 3-4 days for that. if not then do pregnancy test.
