What Causes Delay In Periods While Taking Nexpro And Gastrazole Plus For IBS?
Hello Doctor, I have been suffering from irritable bowel syndrome and GERD since 3 months and recently my doctor prescribed Meva CC, Nexpro LS and Gastrazole Plus. It s been 3 weeks that I m taking these and my period have been delayed by a week. Do any of these medications have any known side effect on Menstrual cycle since my cycle has been most regular till now even after pregnancy around 4 years back.

yes meva c {Chlordiazepoxide, is a sedative/hypnotic drug and benzodiazepine } can cause menstrual irregularities. you can once again review with your doc and ask about whether you should continue it or stop over some time
