Hi,

I understand your concern. Your periods could have been delayed due to certain hormonal changes taking place due to stress or anxiety. It would be better to advance or postpone your periods by taking medications, in case you need to get it earlier or later. You need to take tablet containing 'Norethisterone' twice a day for 3 to 5 days and stop.

Following this, you should get your periods in about a week to ten days. Kindly confirm that you have conceived by taking urine pregnancy test before taking the medication. In case you have to clarify regarding your delayed periods, it would be advisable to consult Gynaecologist promptly for evaluation and management.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further. All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
