What Causes Delay In Periods?

its been 40 days since i got my periods. Had sex on 14 Jan the next day after my regular periods stopped ,taken an ipill and again on 26 Jan another ipill. usually my periods are regular. I did a home test for pregnancy thrice and its negative,using a cycloreg tab 5 day course. worried if i am pregnent
