What Causes Delay In Periods?

hi. i am late getting my period, i have taken a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I have had unprotected sex in the last month and im super nervous. I also have been really stressed with school and stuff more so than usual. But im only 18 and do not want to find out im pregnant!
