What Causes Delay In Periods?

I have not had a period since October 14,210... today is December 26, 2010.. I cannot buy a test right now... for the 3 months prior to the last period, they were fairly regular, then in november and so far in december i have yet to have one... my cycle is approxiamatley 31 days... what is the best explanation?
