Hello,
If you have always had regular 28-30 day cycles and if you have a missed period now, please go for a home pregnancy test 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Tests performed earlier than this may not read well. If you wish to have an earlier and better confirmation, you can get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres done. If positive, this spotting may mean an implantation bleed. Further help can be had from an expert opinion in person and from a sonogram. Hope this helps.
