Hi, In the current scenario, you should exclude or confirm pregnancy, either by repeating the HPT with a fresh early morning sample or through an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. If pregnancy is thus confirmed, this spotting could mean either hormone insufficiency or a subchorionic leak. You should see a specialist and get a proper clinical evaluation in addition to a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and the viability. If pregnancy is negative, this could mean a transient hormone imbalance. Further management can be done with hormones. Take care.
