What Causes Delay In Periods,nausea,back Ache And Cramps?

I am currently 6 days late and am having symptoms such as nausea, backaches, fatigue, sore breasts, mood swings, cramps, vivid dreams, frequent urination, hard time sleeping, etc. I took a HPT and get a negative result. Is it possible that I could still be pregnant or is something else going on?

Hallow Dear,

Your all symptoms suggest that you are under tremendous stress of pregnancy. Yes, some of the symptoms are suggestive of pregnancy; however need to be confirmed.

I feel you have performed HPT too early. HPT is reliable 8-10 days after missed period, earlier it may give false negative results. So, you may repeat the test after 4 days on overnight morning first urine sample. This should give you reliable results.

Alternatively, you may go for Beta hCG test which is highly specific and very sensitive test. This test is reliable even few days before the missed period.

If you turn out to be non-pregnant, you may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days and you should get menses within 4-7 days.
