What Causes Delay In Pregnancy?

HIi, I am 34 years, my periode is 4 days late and I normally always have my periode on time. Did have intercorse, but he did not finish in me. Took 1 pregnancy test and this was negative. Can I be pregnant or is there another more likely reason. Need to know that I can rule pregnancy 100% out because I am on wafarin.
