What Causes Delayed Menstrual Periods And Inability To Get Pregnant?

Hi, we are trying to concieve from last three months, my periods are always normal on 28 day, we had unprotected sex and I miss periods for 5 days in every month could you please tell me what could be the reason of delay in periods and not getting pregnant
