Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Delayed Menstruation After 2 Consecutive Abortions?
I had consecutive abortions for 2 times..1st abort on 6th of April..and another one on 26 may..safe medical abort..and checked empty through scan..now I didn t get my periods..checked for pregnancy test..its negative..pls help me out why I didn t get periods
If your period delayed more than week than urine card test will rule out pregnancy. If you have tested early than urine card test might give false results.
The stress, obesity, weight gain, hormonal pill intake for abortion can delay a period.
I suggest you wait for more one or two week to come period naturally. If still doesn't come than medroxyprogesterone can be prescribed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
