What Causes Delayed Menstruation After Copper-T Insertion?

HI I have copper T inserted, Now my periods got missed 2 days, it should be come on 26th 2 days late, also i have taken pregnancy test(Using the kit) yesterday the result is negative. Im worrying still is there any chance to get pregnancy? Please clarify. In the middle of last month , i had general check up and verified the position of copper T, it is being in normal position. Also in the middle month i had very minimal of bleeding, so i went and consulted the doctor they gave trapic A tablet, i had two tablets, can you please confirm because of this tablet my periods is getting delay? Please clarify my confusion.

I can understand your concern. It is possible to experience some menstrual changes as in cycle duration, flow of blood, amount of bleeding, cramps in lower abdomen etc. It takes time for the body to adjust with the copper T insertion.

If you are not having any other problem or discomfort, you can wait for few more days for the periods.
