What Causes Delayed Menstruation After Taking Unwanted-72 Pill?

i had sex with my BF on 26 may at night and nxt day at morning 10am after 1 hr i had taken unwanted 72 pill.....my period date was 15 but still it has not come. last mnth i had not perform sex not taken any pill then also my period ws 3 days late. so i want to know when it will come???

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Unwanted 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It prevent pregnancy by prevention of implantation of fertilized egg on uterus. It has success of 95 % if taken within 24 hours of intercourse. so chances of pregnancy in you are very less.
The delayed periods are due to high dose of levonorgestrel contained in unwanted 72 pill. So your period can be delayed for 1 or more cycle. This is known side effect of this pill.
Use condom or regular contraceptive pill as method of conception in future. Taking more emergency contraceptive pills can cause problems like irregular periods, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome & even infertility.

If you didnt get your period even delayed by a month Do a pregnancy test & consult a gynaecologist.
