What Causes Delayed Menstruation Post Intake Of Metformin?
Hi, Pls I need help! I used to have regular period (28/29 days), after 4months of TTC without success and my pelvic scan result came out clean (no cyst, no fibroid, etc). However, out of desperation I took metformin on self medication (1000mg daily) to help me ovulate properly, now my period is 2 days late and home pregnancy test is negative, I have no pregnancy symptoms at all!! Please what should I do next? Should I continue with the metformin? I honestly intend to drop the medication.

Make sure that you are not pregnant. Do urine pregnancy test.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
