What Causes Delayed Menstruation Post Intake Of Postinor 2?
Hello Doc, I had sex with my girlfriend on 27th June and 28th June without protection but she took postinor 2 on the 28th June. Her period was due that same day but has delayed and the only sign she has had is a spotting today the 3rd of June. The second postinor 2 pill was taken 12 hours after the first and we haven t had sex since. Please what could be the reason for this delay?

Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive pill and sometimes emergency contraception may change the length of a woman's menstrual cycle making her next period a week earlier or a week later.
