What Causes Delayed Menstruation While On Postinor?

Hi,my last period is on 2th of June, and I had sex on 14th of June, and I taking postino pils.after my period didn t come but I take home pregnant test is negative result,and I had sex again on 19th of July , I m taking postino 2,and until now my period still not come,I ve taking pregnant test but the result still negative,do I pregnant even the result is negative? Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Well, Postinor is an emergency contraceptive pill. It offers protection in preventing pregnancy up to 89%, when taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex.
Sometimes, it can cause delay in appearance of periods. But you should get your periods within 3 weeks from the day you have consumed the pill.
In case it is delayed beyond 3 weeks, you need to seek medical attention, even though your urine pregnancy test says negative.
