What Causes Delayed Menstruation?

Last period date 23rd June 2016, waiting till 29th July and then taken Registrone 5 mg 2 times a day for 3 day s but still period didn t came so did pregnancy test at home n shows positive. My question is does that medicine did any effect on baby ?? is this fine if I keep this pregnancy ?? Suggest please
