General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Fingering during the menses does not cause pregnancy.
Delayed period could be due to hormonal imbalance, ovarian dysfunction, thyroid dysfunction, endometriosis, adenomyosis.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, Ovarian follicle study.
Specific treatment will depend on the cause and test result.
Progesterone pill or shot will help to induce the period.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
