What Causes Delayed Menstruation?

I havent gotten my period yet, i remember getting it last month, and i was supposed to get it this past sunday when my sugar pills started. But it hasnt come yet and its now friday night, if it doesnt come buy tomorrow can i start my new pack and still get my period???
