What Causes Delayed Period After Having Doxycycline For PID?

Hi I have used doxycycline for a diagnosis of pelvic inflammatory disease. Well I started five days after my last period, and now my period is give days late after using it for the fourteen days. So my question is can doxycycline cause a delay in menustral?

doxycycline do not cause delay periods.
get urine test for pregnancy.
consult gynecologist.
