What Causes Delayed Period After Having I-pill Followed By Intercourse?

Hi I had I pill after intercourse but my bf dint ejaculated in me..but as we did without any precautions I took an ipill ..this has happened twice in last two months..I have taken home pregnancy test but the result was negative..em not getting my periods properly..just a little bit of bleeding for few hours...what is the reason..is it happening because of the intake of ipill

I can understand your concern. I pill is an emergency contraceptive pill that prevents pregnancy by changing the hormonal levels. So the bleeding and cycle changes may be attributed as the side effects of I pill, as you are not pregnant.

I would advise you not to use I pill this month. Take care to use condoms for contraception. If the bleeding changes persist in absence of I pill, then you should consult a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations. If the symptoms disappear, you can be sure that those were due to I pill and take care that you do not have to use them often unless there is real emergency.
