What Causes Delayed Period After Having Unprotected Sex While HPT Is Negative?

Hi doctor pls help. I had sex with my gf before 18 days of her next period date.we had sex without condom. She check by preganews after 1 day of her regular date and it came negative.she used to get periods regularly but this time delay caused a tensed situations in life. Please reply ASAP as its very urgent Thanks in advance.

Hello
As you had sex 18 days before due date of menstrual cycle without any precaution .
Now she is having amenorrhea ( no menstruation ) and you took preganews home pregnancy test just one day after due date .
This is no correct , because home pregnancy test accuracy depend on its time .
This test should be done after 7-10 days delay of menstrual cycle .
So , wait for another 7 days .
However may( NO MENSES) be due to tension or stress.
