Hi,

Hormonal pills may take seven days to act since body needs time to rise the hormone levels. During this time, additional methods of contraception is required. Since you have started the drug only 2 days after sex, the protection against pregnancy may be less. You need to take a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

I would suggest you to confirm pregnancy before starting the pill. Kindly rule out pregnancy and then continue the drug.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
